NSP: Second person dies after Red Willow County crash
RED WILLOW COUNTY, Nebr. (NTV NEWS) —
A second person has died after a crash in Red Willow County, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
On Sunday, July 9, a pickup driven by Aaron Jones, 23, of Cambridge, lost control and rolled on Road 399, a few miles east of Indianola.
NSP tells NTV News, Holly Myers, 19, of Horace, Kansas died Saturday, July 15, as a result of injuries from the crash.
Both were ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Jones died at the scene.
Myers was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
According to Nebraska State Patrol, alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash and neither person in the truck was wearing seat belts.
