Sheridan County deputy arrested on suspicion of child abuse, strangulation
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. —
A Sheridan County deputy is behind bars after being accused of abusing a child.
Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol arrested Deputy Chris Henry on multiple charges, including child abuse and strangulation, stemming from an incident that occurred on Tuesday.
NSP said victim was taken to a local hospital and appeared to be in good health.
Henry was transported to Chadron where he was lodged in Dawes County Jail. Further details are not available at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
