Teen reaches out after hearing classmates allegedly talk about shooting up GI school
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. —
Grand Island Police are praising a student who came forward after they say the 17-year-old heard classmates talking about shooting up the school.
It happened Monday afternoon at senior high.
Police say 15-year-old and 16 year-old boys were referred to the Hall County Attorney for terroristic threats.
GIPD said in these situations a threat assessment is always done to see if it's credible.
GI Public Schools said they do not talk about possible punishments of students.
