Husker O comfortable playing against 3-4 defense
A lot has been said about the Blackshirts performance in their first game running Bob Diaco's 3–4 scheme.
Most of far from complimentary.
However, as Nebraska begins preparations for Oregon this week, the Husker offense needs to rely on their experiences practicing against the Blackshirts to help them prepare for the Ducks, who also happen to run the 3–4.
"The three or four weeks of camp that we spent going up against our own defense and the different looks they were able to show us is going to be extremely beneficial," said quarterback Tanner Lee. "That's going to be nice."
"There's a lot of things that go into it," said sophomore running back Tre Bryant. "I know that we've practiced against the 3-4 so much that has become normal to us, even though the 4-3 is most peoples base defense."
