Nebraska sends seniors off with a victory over Michigan State, 8-7

The Nebraska baseball team sent their seniors out in style, as the Huskers defeated Michigan State 8-7, securing another series victory in the Big Ten.

Senior Ben Miller tallied two hits and 3 RBI in his final home game in a Husker uniform. His fellow senior Jake Schleppenbach went 4/4 scoring two runs.

Jake Meyers lasted only two innings, surrendering 7 hits and 4 earned runs. Nebraska turned to closer Chad Luensmann late who earned his 8th save of the season.

Nebraska returns to action on Thursday, for a 3 game series at Penn State.
