Tai Webster and Shavon Shields are still chasing down the National Basketball Association dream.

Webster is getting a chance with the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors.

The Australia native already secured a spot with the Charlotte Hornets roster and is playing in the Orlando summer league. Following his time in the Sunshine State, he's hopping on a flight to Las Vegas for a tryout with the Warriors who don't have a game until Saturday, July 8th at 9:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

Shields is also playing summer league basketball in Las Vegas this year as a member of the Heat roster for their three–game swing through the desert.

In the first year away from Lincoln, Shields played 26 games in a German league where he averaged 14.0 points and a field goal percentage of 60.0%. He then switched to a team with an Italian League for 8 games in which he shot 50.9% while averaging 10.1 points and 3.3 rebounds.

The Heat open with the Spurs, Saturday, July 8th at 7:00 p.m. CT on ESPNU.

Every game of pool play in Vegas is being televised nationally by either an ESPN station or NBA TV.
