Omaha busy hosting 2020 NCAA events

2020 is going to be a banner year for Omaha's CenturyLink Center.

Starting in March, the Madness rolls through the "Big O" for the two most exciting rounds of basketball every year.

Creighton is hosting the first and second rounds of the men's Division I basketball tournament. This is the fifth time the big dance is visiting the Link.

Number four on those trips is happening next year, 2018, when Omaha plays host to an NCAA regional, better known as the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight.

Nine months removed from the madness of March, and the 2020 Division I volleyball title is also being decided at the CenturyLink Center.

Nebraska wins the hosting rights for the volleyball championships, running December 17–19.

This is the fourth time Omaha has been the site for volleyball's crown jewel since 2006. Nebraska reaching the Final Four of the sport each time it's been in Omaha.
