The Nebraska Danger were trailing much of the way and fell to Wichita Falls, 57-40, Friday at Yeager Coliseum.

The game was much closer than the final count dictates.

Quarterback Patrick McCain brought the danger to within a 44-40 deficit in the fourth quarter, but a drive of 5:20 allowed Wichita Falls to take a 50-40 lead and ate enough off the clock, Nebraska did not have enough time to complete the come back.

Wichita Falls dug a big hole the Danger were forced to climb out of, leading 21-10 and 28-16 in the second quarter. The Nighthawk lead grew to 16 points at the 13:10 mark in the third quarter.
