The Nebraska Danger enter their 2nd bye week of the season at 6–5. The Danger boys playing 7 straight games earning 4 victories. 2 of their 3 losses coming at the hands of Wichita Falls and Iowa, two of the top teams in the IFL.

The Danger Defense surrendering 57 points to the Nighthawks on Friday. Nebraska will have to play 3 of their last 5 games on the road to finish out the season. The Danger coaching staff would like to see the team exhibit more mental toughness especially on the practice field.

" That's part of my job to just wheel them back in and bring them back to reality", said Head Coach Hurtis Chinn. " You have to let them know that 'hey man you have the rest of the day to let your body relax and recuperate'. When you come out here for an hour and a half or an hour and 45 minutes just give it all you got. That's a as far as game appreciation goes. Being appreciative of the moment that you're able to play and run around because one day you're going to be old like me. You're not going to be able to run around so much and so long."

The Danger return to action on May 20th at the Heartland Events Center when they host the Green Bay Blizzard.
