Storm score twice in 3rd to beat Lincoln again
LINCOLN, Neb. —
Adam Goodsir scored on the power play with less than four minutes remaining in the game as the Tri-City Storm erased a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2 Wednesday night at the Ice Box.
Michael Maloney scored his fourth of the season earlier in the period to tie the game up at two a piece. Connor McMenamin got the assist, and is now second on the team with eight.
Tri-City goalie Filip Larsson stopped 25 of the 27 shots Lincoln fired his way, but he was unable to get his eyes locked on Casey Dornbach, who scored twice in the second period. Ronnie Attard's fourth of the season for the Storm was sandwiched between the two Dornbach tallies.
The Storm (11-3-0-0), who tied Fargo with 22 points for first in the Western Conference, is at Sioux City, Iowa on Friday night.
