Storm stand strong against Sioux Falls
Eric Dop didn't let any Sioux Falls shots get by him, while Tri-City found the net four times in a shutout of the Stampede Friday at the Viaero Center.
Dop saved all 32 in his first ever USHL shutout, and made some really good plays in the net to keep Sioux Falls scoreless.
Linus Weissbach getting things started for Tri-City in the first period when he found Adam Goodsir on the end line and Goodsir backhanded his 13th goal of the season.
Weissbach picked up his 25th assist of the season in the second period. Moments after Jace Foskey was released from the penalty box, Weissbach got a rush going towards the offensive end. Foskey caught the clean pass and wristed it home for his 3rd of the season.
Wyllum Deveaux collected his fourth tally of this year, this one unassisted, and Blais Richartz got the first horn of his USHL career, and in his inaugural USHL appearance, at 13:14 of the 3rd period.
Tri-City is at home Saturday against Sioux City at 7:05 p.m. CT.
