York Dukes win first state title since 1944

York going for their first state title since 1944 facing Omaha Skutt Catholic.

The Skyhawks started red hot especially, Jake Kudron who fires away from behind the arc and connects. He had two three-pointers in the first quarter.

Garrett Snodgrass with another great first half for the Dukes, he gets the rock off the low block and goes to work and scores a pair. He racked up 13 on the night.

Fourth quarter, Skutt Catholic beginning to put some distance between York, Tyson Gordon with no fear driving into the lane and sinking the shot off the window. Finishing with 15.

York trailed by eight with 1:41 to play and they quickly get to work, Brady Danielson leading the charge finds an easy path to the basket. Cuts the lead down to four with 49 seconds left.

Dukes set up their defense force a turnover by stripping the ball from Austin Ash, Danielson the benefactor lays it in for the basket and one. He completes the three-point play. Racking up 25 in the game.
