Memorial Service Remembers Infants Lost Too Soon
Taken too soon. Sunday afternoon, parents and family members of babies lost gathered for a special memorial to give them a chance to connect and remember their children who have died. People gathered at the the Good Samaritan burial site as a way to remember babies who were either miscarried, stillborn or died in infancy. Hospital officials say this memorial is a way to show grieving parents and family members that they're not alone. "It's important and it helps them with closure to have someone that remembers and to find others that are grieving also," said Good Samaritan Hospital Chaplain Sister Rose M. Donnelly. This is an annual event sponsored by CHI Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
