The 13th annual NTV Blood Drive has exceeded its goals. Along with the American Red Cross, you helped raise a total of 218 units of blood.
That's 64 in Hastings, 67 in Grand Island, and 87 in Kearney.
The goals set were 45 in Hastings, 55 in Grand Island, and 68 in Kearney.
All three cities surpassed last year's totals, with a total of 166 units.
Over 13 years, this blood drive has now collected nearly 1,900 pints of blood for patients in need.

The Red Cross relies on everyday heroes to help ensure a stable blood supply for patients in need. In the Midwest Blood Services Region, covering Nebraska and southwest Iowa, the Red Cross must collect 500 pints of blood every day to meet the needs of patients at more than 70 area hospitals.
