KEARNEY, Neb. -- Valentine's is only days away and you may be looking for an impressive dish to share with special someone.
The Rustic Patch in downtown Kearney said it takes mere minutes to prep this Puff Pastry Baked Brie.
- 1 large sheet of puff pastry dough or 1 tube of crescent dinner rolls
-1 round of Brie cheese
- 2 tablespoons of Razapeno Jam
-1 tablespoon of brown sugar
-1/4 cup maple syrup

"We are using our local Razapeno Jelly," said The Rustic Patch owner, Sonya Griffith. "It would be fun too if you did apple, apricot. You can do your own twist on whatever is your favorite flavor of jam."
Place the full brie wheel in the pastry, top with jelly, maple syrup and brown sugar.
Cover and bake at 350 for thirty mins.
"About 8 minutes before it was about done I took the lid off so It browned up just a little bit more," said Griffith. "You're going to take it out of the oven and you're going to let it sit for ten minutes before you eat it. You can serve it with your favorite crackers or you can serve it with apples."
Griffith said Gala and Fuji are best, she does not recommend Red Delicious with this recipe.
If bringing this dish to a party, Griffith also recommends prepping the dish at home then asking the host to preheat the oven and baking the Brie there to ensure the best taste.
