HOLDREGE, Neb. -- A new coffee option in Holdrege that doesn't require getting out of the car.
"We officially opened on Saturday," said store manager, Monica Boyken. "We're calling this a soft open. So, it's supposed to be a slow time, a chance for our barista's to practice making their drinks perfectly so that we can speed up the process by the time we get to grad opening."
However, this soft opening concept isn't slowing the customers.
The manager said that grand opening date will depend on when the baristas are up to the skill and speed of Scooter's standards.
"Scooters is based out of Omaha," said Boyken. "They are now in several states throughout the United States and they have just kind of entered the smaller markets like Holdrege. We had three openings in the last two weeks so they're growing at a fantastic pace."
The Holdrege Scooter's is open seven days a week.
The coffee shop is 103 4th Avenue.
