Cruise Nite 2017 is now in the books, but before Kearney can get back to business as usual, it's time to clean up.

The cars are gone from Saturday's 'show n-shine on The Bricks and the 'post cruise' through Kearney. Now all that's left are empty lots with parking barricades, extra trash containers lining the streets, and tables and chairs to be picked up.

One Yanda's Music employee checking on tear-down from Saturday's concerts, even spent his Sunday morning picking up the Museum of Nebraska Art's parking lot.

"I don't know that I really have a particular responsibility, I just saw that some things needed to be done, trying to help out." said Steve Main.

Main says he knew city employees would be out to clean up, but said the more he could do, the better.
