Firefighters respond to semi fire on I-80

Authorities responded to a semi fire in westbound lanes on Interstate 80. The call came in Saturday, just before 3 p.m.

According to Nebraska State Patrol, the semi fire was at mile marker 321. The driver told authorities that he noticed smoke and pulled over. The fire started at the back of the tractor. No injuries were reported. The driver was from Oswego, Illinois. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
