G.I. Police look for driver of toppled car

    Grand Island police were on the lookout for a driver involved in an overnight hit and run on Monday.

    Police told NTV News it happened just before 1:30 a.m. along the 400 block of West 14th Street.

    They said a car hit a parked vehicle, then rolled.

    Police said the driver then fled the scene.

    According to the G.I. Police twitter account, beer was found in the upside-down car.

    However, police said they do not know what caused the crash at this time.
