At the time, authorities said Watermeier was considered dangerous.
GIPD said Watermeier was arrested around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday near West 13th Street and North Boggs Avenue.
Police said he was arrested for warrants out of Cass and Lancaster Counties, as well as no proof of insurance, no registration and driving during suspension.
According to Hall County Corrections, he was booked into the jail shortly after 7:00 p.m.
