Grand Island Police Captain Dean Elliott said officers were called at 9:56 p.m. Wednesday to reports of shots fired near Sylvan Avenue and O’Neill Circle.

Elliott said around the same time they were called to a man in a person's garage just a few blocks away 416 Windolph Avenue.
