Governor Ricketts shares thoughts about attending President George H.W. Bush's funeral

Governor Pete Ricketts attended the funeral for the President George H. W. Bush in Washington D.C. on Wednesday. While in Kearney on Thursday evening, he shared with NTV News a little of what it meant to him to be there.

"The one thing I think I came away with was just a deeper appreciation of what just a good man he was, how much he cared about those around him, how he was loyal to those around him," said Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts. "And really demonstrates that by picking people up by sending them notes sharing his appreciation, he really was a kind and caring man and he really showed that to those around him."
