Investigators look for more evidence in Saline County on Loofe's death
Investigators in the case of Sydney Loofe, a 24-year-old from Lincoln who was missing for since Nov. 16, spent much of Thursday back in Saline County once again.
Authorities say a body was found this week in Clay County that they believe is her, and they suspect foul play.
Loofe's family shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, wishing her eternal rest.
Loofe disappeared after going on a date she set up on Tinder.
The people behind the dating app put out a statement Thursday night on Loofe's death, saying "We are deeply saddened by this horrific tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family and loved ones, and we are fully cooperating with law enforcement in this investigation."
On Saturday, a candlelight vigil will be held at the Sunken Gardens in Lincoln.
A visitation with family is planned for 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Neligh.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
Her family is asking that people wear green in Loofe's memory.
