KEARNEY, Neb. — A Kearney man has been charged with soliciting prostitution from a teen.
Luis Borjon-Marquez, 69, is charged with one count of soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18.
According to Buffalo County Court records, on Sept. 22, the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a 17-year-old girl was being offered money for sex. The sheriff’s office was able to acquire the text messages between Borjon-Marquez and the girl.
The messages were reportedly exchanged between Aug. 22 and Sept. 25.
On Thursday, a sheriff’s deputy contacted Borjon-Marquez at his residence at Sunset View Trailer Court. Borjon-Marquez told the deputy he was “playing along with her (17-year-old girl) and he was trying to get her to stop sending him messages and asking him for money.”
