Nebraska lawmakers are scheduled to discuss a bill that would give teens immunity when reporting an alcohol overdose.

Under LB923, someone older than 18 but under 21 won't receive a minor in possession charge for requesting emergency medical assistance.

Also under the bill, law enforcement will receive immunity from civil action in the use of Naloxone, a medication used to treat opioid overdose.
