Man treated at hospital after attack at Grand Island beef plant

A man was treated at a hospital after he reported being attacked at his workplace in Grand Island.

The Grand Island Police Department said an employee at JBS Swift at 555 S. Stuhr Road was assaulted by three other men while at work early Thursday morning. The victim said his attackers used a chain, a pipe and a knife in the attack.

He was treated for bumps and cuts at an area hospital.

Officers said the victim was able to identify one of the suspects by name, but the identities of the other two attackers are unknown at this time.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
