Nebraska senator hopes to close wage gap with bill proposal
A state senator is looking to help reduce the gender pay gap in Nebraska.
Sen. Patty Pansing Brooks introduced a bill that would require employers to provide equal pay for equal work.
The proposal would also incentivize an employer to examine their own pay equity practices.
The bill would also prohibit a company from requiring non-disclosure of wages.
