Nebraska State Fair earns top 50th spot in national ranking

The Nebraska State Fair earns a spot in the top fifty fairs across the nation.

According to a list gathered by, the Nebraska State Fair took the the number 50 spot with 361,107 people in attendance.

“This is testament to the unprecedented growth that the Nebraska State Fair has seen over the past 7 years in Grand Island. To say we’re delighted to show in the top 50 is an understatement,” said Nebraska State Fair Executive Director,Joseph McDermott.

In addition, McDermott said Wade Shows, Nebraska’s carnival midway, held on to its number 3 position in the nation.

"With six events and a total of 5,110,889 in attendance, Wade Shows continues to be a terrific partner and is an integral part of the overall Nebraska State Fair experience,” said McDermott.
