One person injured in Highway 281 crash that closed lanes

One person is recovering after a two-vehicle crash involving a car and semitrailer truck in Grand Island.

According to the Grand Island Police Department, emergency crews responded to the scene about 9:20 p.m. Saturday on southbound Highway 281 near the truck stop. Police say a 2008 Dodge Caliber, driven by Tyson Tonniges, drove into the back of a 2002 Kenworth truck that was pulling a trailer, driven by Charles Howard.
