Three people were arrested on Friday following the July 31 homicide of 36-year-old Jeccisa Brandon of Lincoln.

Investigators with the Lincoln Police Department, partnering with multiple law enforcement agencies across the country, arrested 25-year-old Dante D. Williams in Omaha. 26-year-old Damon D. Williams Jr. and 25-year-old Tawhyne M. Patterson were both arrested in Texas.

The three men were taken into custody based on active arrest warrants associated with the homicide of Brandon.

Police said the investigation into Brandon's homicide and the motive leading up to the shooting is ongoing, and additional arrests are possible.

The Criminal Investigations Unit continues to analyze witness statements, electronic and physical evidence, and to follow up on all tips received from the public.
