Police looking for burglar they say kicked in a door as people slept inside

(NTV News)

Grand Island Police say they’re looking for suspect that kicked in the front door of a home while people were sleeping inside.

It happened just after 4:30 a.m. Sunday at 655 Meves Avenue.

G.I.P.D. said the person ran when they realized someone was home and didn't take anything.

They said these types of burglaries aren't uncommon, but normally the thieves wait until people are gone before breaking in.
