Police: Two teens caught breaking into garage in Grand Island
Grand Island Police told NTV News they hope a rash of burglaries will slow down after two teens were caught in the act.
Police said someone reported two boy breaking into his home on east sixth street Monday afternoon.
Officers said they found the teens in the garage before they fled the scene.
According to Grand Island Police, a 16-year-old was caught about a block away after entering a home uninvited.
Police said he was on probation and transported to the Sarpy County Youth Detention Center for burglary, obstructing a police officer and criminal trespassing.
A 15-year-old was found later and referred to the Hall County Attorney's office for burglary and obstruction.
