Poll: Nebraskans appreciate roles that caregivers, educators play in educating children
According to a joint poll between Gallup and the Buffett Early Childhood Institute, Nebraskans appreciate the roles that caregivers and early childhood educators play in educating children.
The findings were released at a function in Kearney on Monday. The event focused on early childhood education.
Those at the meeting say this research now validates that fact and also shows that those who work with these kids are the important people in their lives outside of home.
“We know there's so much development going on in those first years, and these are the people who are helping these children day to day and they're so critical in long-term success,” said Susan with Buffett Early Childhood Institute.
Seven thousand people from across the state were surveyed for the poll.
