Senator pushes for sales tax-exempt feminine hygiene products

(MGN)

A Nebraska senator introduced a bill that would remove the sales tax from feminine hygiene products on Thursday.

Senator Mike McDonnell's LB798 states that sales and use taxes cannot be added to the sale of feminine hygiene products in Nebraska.

The bill clarifies feminine hygiene products to include menstrual pads, tampons, menstrual cups, or menstrual sponges.
