Stuhr Museum and Raising Cane's join forces for fundraiser
Grand Island's Stuhr Museum is giving members a taste of a unique fundraising opportunity for the facility.
20 percent of sales at Raising Cane's in Grand Island will be donated to the museum for members who show their cards at the restaurant. Proceeds will go toward general operating funds.
It's the first time the museum has done this kind of fundraising, and officials say doing this seemed like a good fit.
"This is the type of thing where we know we have a constituency within our membership to come out and do this," said Stuhr Museum's Marketing Director Mike Bockoven. "We know we have a very wide constituency within Hall County and it just made a lot of sense to try."
This promotion started on Jan. 1, and will run through the end of the year.
