GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- A teen who is accused of helping multiple others in the assault and kidnapping of a man in Grand Island is asking to have her case moved to juvenile court.
The 17-year-old girl was arrested June 7 on four felony charges, including kidnapping, robbery, burglary and first-degree assault after a man was found beaten at a Grand Island intersection on June 4.
The Grand Island Police Department said they found the victim's car submerged in L.E. Rey Lake on June 6.
21-year-old Olivia Perez and a 16-year-old boy were also arrested in the incident.
The 17-year-old's name will not be released unless the Hall County Court determines that she will continue to be tried as an adult.
