Traffic stop for driving infraction leads to arrest

    A faulty taillight led to a drug bust this weekend near Wood River on Interstate 80, according to the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP).

    NSP said a trooper pulled over the 2005 Lincoln Navigator for the driving infraction. During the stop, an NSP K-9 detected possible drugs in the vehicle. The trooper found six pounds of pot, one gram of mushrooms, two grams of meth, 43 grams of marijuana seeds and 78 grams of a form of marijuana known as shatter. Troopers also found five swords in the vehicle.

    The driver, 43-year-old Kasey Miles of Yakima, Washington, is currently in the Hall County Jail on multiple drug charges.
