TransCanada begins land surveys in anticipation of constructing the Keystone XL Pipeline
TransCanada is beginning to surveying land in three state and Nebraska is included with them.
Currently, crews are located in Holt and Antelope counties.
A spokesperson for the company told NTV News that surveys would go into the summer in anticipation of constructing the Keystone XL Pipeline sometime next year.
She said they are working to give landowners 48-hour notice and not go onto land where they do not have permission.
As for challenges to the project, TransCanada said they would handle them case by case.
