Trial set for teen accused of robbing, kidnapping Grand Island man
The trial date is set for a teen accused of robbing, beating and kidnapping a Grand Island man.
That man's vehicle ended up being fished out L.E. Ray lake a few days after he was found beaten near a Grand Island roadway.
Alicen Cote, 17, is charged as an adult, despite her attorney's push to move the case to juvenile court.
According to court documents, Cote has been ordered not to see or talk to a 16-year-old suspect in the case if she's released.
Her trial is scheduled for October 10.
