HOLDREGE, Neb. — Two Holdrege businesses sold alcohol to a minor during their compliance checks, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
Investigators with NSP said they inspected 19 businesses in Phelps County on Dec. 7.
NSP said two sold alcohol to a minor for a non-compliance rate of 11 percent. One of the businesses failed to check the minor’s ID.
The businesses which failed the inspections were the following:
Businesses that fail the inspections are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
