Two Colorado natives sentenced to jail after car chase in Dawson County
Two people involved in a car chase in Dawson County were sentenced on Friday.
Authorities said Michael Medina, 25, and Patricia Pacheco, 29, fled from police back in July after an attempted traffic stop.
They said the two took off on foot into a corn field and were found the next morning.
According to court records, Medina's charges include car theft and avoiding arrest.
He was sentenced about 20-months behind bars but has 133-days of credit for time already served.
Records said Pacheco was sentenced to 380 days in jail but has 124-days of credit.
Both were also sentenced to pay over $1,000 in restitution.
