Two injured in Highway 6 crash
ATLANTA, Neb. —
The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating what lead to a head-on crash that injured two people Monday.
According to NSP, a semi-truck and 1992 Suzuki Sidekick collided around 2:20 p.m. on Highway 6 near the Harlan and Phelps County line south of Atlanta.
The driver of the SUV was life-flighted to CHI Good Samaritan with serious injuries, according to the patrol. The driver of the semi was taken by cruiser to Phelps County Memorial Hospital with non-serious injuries.
NSP said both drivers were wearing a seatbelt. Names of the people involved have not been released.
Authorities said they’re using accident reconstruction to try to determine what happened.
