HASTINGS, Neb. -- Hasting police have arrested the victim of a Monday shooting for other warrants.
The Hastings Police Department said they discovered the bullets that peppered a home on the east side of town early Monday morning came from a small-caliber weapon.
They said someone fired into the trailer on East C Street and hit 27-year-old Johny Munoz in the foot.
Police said Munoz was taken to the hospital and released Monday, but was immediately taken to jail on a warrant for failing to pay child support.
Hasting Police Department isn't releasing any possible suspect information and are encouraging people to always be aware of their surroundings and remain vigilant.
