Nebraskans promote ag during Canada trade mission

Governor Ricketts attended a joint meeting with U.S. Embassy Representatives (Office of Governor Pete Ricketts)

On Thursday, Governor Pete Ricketts and the Nebraska trade delegation kicked off the final leg of the Nebraska trade mission to Canada in Ottawa. In the morning, Ricketts and delegation attended a Canadian Pork Council and Canadian Cattlemen Association event at the United States Embassy.

After that event, Ricketts participated in a joint meeting with various Embassy officials followed by a business lunch at the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence.

As part of the trip, the group also toured Bayview Yards which is an innovation and technology hub in Ottawa.

The group began the trip back to Nebraska Friday.
