LINCOLN, Neb. — Head coach Matt Rhule was direct when asked about Saturday’s scrimmage.
“it was significantly improved by the defense, I’m disappointed we put the ball on the ground to much offensively and special teams wise,” said the first-year head coach.
Coach Rhule continues to teach his guys that despite the results on the field they’re not where they want to be.
“I just want to make sure they understand we’re 4-8 its not a negative thing we have to earn the right to say we’re a good team we have to fight to be a good team,” said Rhule.
Nebraska’s Red-White spring game is slated for Saturday April, 22.
