Giving gas station breakfast pizza a run for their money, that's what Billy Jack's Pizza Pub in Kearney hopes to do.

The fast food pizza company opened to the public Monday, and they said they're calling the concept "fast casual dining."

"You no longer have to go to a gas station for a slice of breakfast pizza or wait in line at Starbucks or Scooters for a coffee or espresso," said Bill Winberg, founder, president and CEO of Billy Jack's Pizza Pub. "We serve both. Either a slice of pizza or French toast sticks along with any nonalcoholic including cappuccinos and macchiatos and stuff right through the drive through for six bucks."

In addition to breakfast pizza, they're serving up lunch and dinner. Plus Winberg said they have a unique, full service bar.

"It's a frost rail that's literally covered in frost, refrigerated, compressed line," said Winberg. "You sit your drink on it and no matter how long it's on there, it's always going to be cold for you."

Despite Monday being their first day open to the public, the company said they've seen an outpouring of support from the community already.

"The support is a little bit overwhelming," said Winberg. "It's just incredible. I know Courtney, my marketing gal that runs the Facebook page, said something about her last post reached 13,000 people and 1,500 people following us before we even opened the doors, it's overwhelming."

Billy Jack's is located at 810 S 3rd Ave.

It is just one of several new restaurants that have opened in the Tri-Cities in the last month.
