Nebraska needed every ounce of effort it could muster to top a pesky Badgers squad, 51-48. The Huskers trailed by as many as 10 in the first half, before cranking up the heat on the defensive end. Big Red held Wisconsin to one field goal in the final 4:40 of regulation and sealed the win on a 5 second call with under 2 seconds to play.

Freshmen Kate Cain and Taylor Kissinger combined for 25 points.

The Huskers next play Michigan State in Easy Lansing on Valentines Day.
