O'Brien transferring to Colorado State

Former Nebraska quarterback Patrick O'Brien finding a new home. The California native announcing on twitter his intentions to join the Colorado State program. His decision comes almost 2 months to the day after declaring his intentions to transfer.

O'Brien appeared in only four games during his time donning the scarlet and cream. He threw for 192 yards and 1 interception in 2017. He was at one time considered a possible heir apparent to the QB position. POB was in the midst of a 4–man competition during spring ball when he announced he was leaving the program. O'Brien's departure, means no eligible quarterback on the Husker roster has thrown a pass in a college game.
