Broncos New Football Mindset

Broncos offense works on new passing plays.

Over on the Football field at Hastings College coach Tony Harper and his Broncos held their first practice Thursday.

Covering everything from drills to plays, and conditioning. This new season brings a new mind set.

The Broncos finished 4–7 in 2016, winning only one game against a conference opponent.

Now after an offseason with higher numbers in the weight room and on the field the team looks for a turn around.

No pads on the first day, but the team got to work on their pass play.

Led by coach Harper who enters his seventh season as the Broncos head coach.

Driven by a new mentality the team worked through different drills focused on blocking.

As well as quick feet in the run game. The Broncos kick–off the 2017 season away at The University of Jamestown Aug. 26th.

They hold their first home game Sep. 9th against Valley City State.
