Farmer named GPAC player of the week
HASTINGS, Neb. —
Shandra Farmer had a career high in points, three pointers shot and made, rebounds and blocks in a road game against a Top 10 opponent.
Yeah, it's a pretty remarkable accomplishment and now Farmer is the GPAC women's basketball Player of the Week.
The sophomore guard dropped 26 points on 10–of–15 shooting from the field and hit on more than 50 percent (5–9) on her three-point field goals.
She added six rebounds, two assists and had a block in 35 minutes, helping the Broncos take down No. 6 Morningside, 75–64 in the lone outing last week for Hastings College.
The Broncos improved to 10–2 this year and now get to enjoy Las Vegas for a few days before Christmas with a game in Sin City Wednesday and Thursday.
